Corrections & disputes
Every number and status on PepAssure is derived from a record we can show you. If a record is wrong, tell us and we fix the record; the number follows. This page says what can be disputed, what cannot, and how long it takes.
What can change
- A lab result attached to the wrong vendor (the most common error, and the most useful report).
- A purity figure we read incorrectly from a certificate.
- An enforcement or shutdown entry whose source does not say what we say it says, or that has been superseded by a newer record.
- Vendor facts: website, location, founding year, which labs you use, whether you publish per-batch CoAs.
- A review that breaks our guidelines (not one that is merely negative).
What never changes on request
- An independent lab result that the lab stands behind. Low results stay published.
- The score formula. It is public on the methodology page and applies to every vendor the same way.
- A vendor’s position in the rankings. No payment, claim or request moves it; only evidence does.
- A government record. We link FDA, DOJ and FTC documents as published; if the agency amends one, send us the amendment.
How it works
- Send the form below (or email hello@pepassure.com) with the page URL, what is wrong, and a link to the evidence.
- We acknowledge within 72 hours and tell you what we are checking.
- If the record is wrong we correct it and the affected pages regenerate; scores recompute that night. If we disagree, we say why and what evidence would change our view.
- Material corrections to an enforcement entry or a published score are noted on the page they affect, with the date.
Vendors who have claimed their listing can also request a rescore from the dashboard once new evidence is on file; a rescore reruns the formula and changes nothing else.
Dispute a record
Anyone can file. If you represent the vendor, say so and use an address at the vendor’s domain so we can verify you.
Informational only; not legal advice. PepAssure publishes evidence status, not endorsements. See methodology and how to cite the enforcement list.
