Built by Researchers, for Researchers
Scientists, physicians, data engineers, and health professionals who got tired of a market with no accountability layer — so they built one.
Our Mission
Make Quality Verifiable
PepAssure was started by a multidisciplinary team — physicians, biochemists, data scientists, exercise physiologists, and health researchers — who all ran into the same wall: a peptide market where vendors claimed 99% purity with no proof, researchers relied on Reddit threads to make sourcing decisions, and no independent accountability layer existed.
So we built one. Every vendor on our platform is evaluated against the same five-pillar scoring system — co-developed with PhD analytical chemists and clinical pharmacologists — covering COA verification, purity testing, community sentiment, vendor transparency, and order experience. The full methodology is public. The data is updated daily. And we take no money from the vendors we rank.
Our scoring isn't a black box. It was designed by people who read HPLC chromatograms for a living and built by engineers who care about getting it right. Every weight, every formula, every data source is documented in our public methodology.
Scientific Rigor
Why You Can Trust Our Scores
Our Values
What We Stand For
Independent
We accept no payment from vendors in exchange for rankings. Paid tiers unlock dashboard tools, but never influence scores.
Transparent
Our full scoring methodology is public. Vendors know exactly what moves their score — and so do researchers.
Data-Driven
Every score component is measurable. We aggregate COAs, lab results, community sentiment, and order experience into a single metric.
Researcher-First
We exist to help researchers find vendors they can trust. Every decision we make prioritizes research quality over growth metrics.
Who We Are
The Team
Eight people across four disciplines — clinical medicine, analytical chemistry, data science, and performance health — who share one conviction: the research community deserves better than marketing copy on a label.
Dr. Marcus Webb
Chief Science Officer
MD · Sports Medicine · 16 years clinical practice
Spent 16 years as a sports medicine physician watching peptides change patient outcomes before the research caught up with the market. Joined PepAssure to ensure the verification standard is as rigorous as the science.
Dr. Sarah Kim
Head of Lab Verification
Ph.D. Analytical Chemistry · Ex-CRO QA Lead
Spent a decade at a contract research organization validating pharmaceutical COAs. Designed PepAssure's HPLC interpretation standards and built our batch-anomaly detection model from scratch.
Dr. Elena Vasquez
Clinical Pharmacology Advisor
MD, PharmD · Peptide Pharmacokinetics
Clinical researcher specializing in peptide pharmacokinetics. Ensures our vendor quality language stays within research-use framing and flags any safety-relevant scoring patterns before they go live.
Dr. Andrew Park
Biochemistry Lead
Ph.D. Biochemistry · Protein Chemistry
Protein biochemist who got tired of watching researchers blame their protocols when the real problem was vendor purity. Co-authored the COA verification framework that underpins our 30% scoring pillar.
James Thornton
Lead Data Scientist
M.S. Computational Linguistics · NLP Engineer
Former NLP engineer who built the sentiment analysis pipeline that classifies 30,000+ community posts weekly. Maintains our shill-detection model and recency-weighting algorithm.
Ryan Cole
Performance & Fitness Lead
CSCS · M.S. Exercise Physiology · Competitive Athlete
Competed at national level while sourcing peptides for training protocols with no reliable quality guide. That frustration became the original product spec. Represents the athlete and fitness community in every scoring decision.
Chloe Martinez
Community & Research Lead
M.S. Nutritional Science · Health Researcher
Health researcher and community builder. Manages our COA upload pipeline, the verified-buyer reviewer network, and ensures the voice of the research community is baked into the scoring algorithm — not bolted on.
Tom Hargreaves
Platform Engineering Lead
B.S. Computer Science · 10 years biohacking
Full-stack engineer who has been deep in the biohacking community for a decade. Built the platform that serves the rankings, dashboard, and API. Believes the best tools give you data and get out of the way.
